About IGES Digital

The German market for digital products is served jointly by the three companies of the IGES Group: AiM, IGES Institut and CSG, which work closely together to provide comprehensive support from a single source.

IGES Digital's comprehensive support is unique: it enables fast and economically well thought-out access to the German market. Extensive health economic and clinical expertise as well as profound experience from the field of health services research are the basis of our work. We have furthermore been involved with the digitization of the German healthcare system since the very beginning. All this enables us to provide excellent support to inventors of digital healthcare products.

The broad expertise of the IGES companies covers the entire spectrum from early planning to the post-market phase of a digital health product:

AiM – Strategic Support: As of the subsidiaries of IGES, AiM provides clients with competitive analyses to gain extended insights into the German market. Clients may also receive a pre-check of their DiGA concept, on whether the BfArM criteria are fulfilled. If not, AiM may additionally elaborate on potential reimbursement strategies.

IGES Institut – Design: The IGES Institut offers study synopses as a means to agree on relevant aspects of the study. The study synopsis also serves as foundation of the BfArM consultation, another service that IGES offers. The BfArM consultation is highly recommended and takes place at an early stage of the process in order to identify possible obstacles in time. Lastly, the IGES Institut assists clients with the evaluation concept that has to be submitted to the BfArM.

CSG – Design and Implementation: CSG offers assistance with study protocols, that have to be submitted with the application for preliminary inclusion in the DiGA directory. CSG additionally supports clients with their statistical analysis plans, study protocols, study conduct and close out. Following the end of the study, we also provide analysis and report assistance for the future.

Our experts in France and the United Kingdom also support innovative providers of digital health products in all aspects of market entry, market assessment and reimbursement in these countries.
